Every hijulez garment is crafted in Vancouver, Canada. Many pieces are produced in-house by Julie and our team, while additional support for larger production runs is provided by Studio 310. This trusted local studio shares our commitment to craftsmanship and quality, and we have worked closely together for many years.
Keeping production local allows us to remain involved in every step of the process, ensuring each piece meets the standards of care, intention, and detail that define hijulez.
hijulez operates on the traditional, unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Intentional + Lasting
hijulez garments are designed to evolve alongside the people who wear them. We encourage a lasting relationship with clothing by offering mending and reimagining services for any hijulez piece. Garments can return to the studio for repair, a new layer of natural dye, or thoughtful alterations that give them a new life.
This approach challenges the traditional cycle of fashion consumption and supports a slower, more considered relationship with clothing. Custom reimaginings are available upon request.
Thoughtful Packaging
Orders are wrapped in compostable tissue paper. Our packaging is designed to be minimal yet protective, ensuring garments arrive safely while reducing unnecessary waste.
Responsibly Sourced
hijulez works with deadstock, recycled, or eco-certified fabrics, alongside natural dyes. Materials are selected with care, and every garment is created using methods that prioritize respect for both people and the planet.
